According to box-office tracking platform Sacnilk, Dragon has earned Rs 73 crore domestically. Internationally, total earnings have surpassed Rs 115 crore, making it the second-highest-grossing Tamil film of 2025.

Dragon follows the journey of a young man who graduates with 48 backlogs. Despite securing a successful career, circumstances force him to return to college to clear his arrears. The film features Pradeep Ranganathan in the lead role, supported by Anupama Parameswaran, Kayadu Lohar, George Maryan, K. S. Ravikumar, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Mysskin.

Produced by AGS Entertainment, Dragon marks the first collaboration between Pradeep Ranganathan and Ashwath Marimuthu.
